Holdings Appoints East Coast Exec. VP

Tilden recently announced the appointment of MTCH Executive Vice President - East Coast and Intermodal Alfred C. Giannetti. Also executive vice president for MTCH's East Coast Holdings subsidiary, Giannetti will be relocating from San Pedro, Calif., to Savannah, Ga., to assume responsibility of East Coast operations, including new business development. In additional to maintaining regular contact with all customers of MTCH East Coast-headquartered companies and coordinating communications between those offices and other MTCH enterprises, Giannetti will coordinate intermodal sales activities and strategies among the major MTCH business groups, including the MGM companies. Giannetti will be situated in Savannah-based Stevens Shipping and Terminal Co.'s office. Stevens was acquired by MTCH earlier this year, thereby expanding MTCH's core terminal operating and stevedoring business beyond the U.S. West Coast. MTC Holdings is a privately owned holding company based in Oakland, Calif., with U.S. operating subsidiaries that provide stevedoring, terminal management, technology systems, and equipment and repair services to the maritime and intermodal industries.
